Paper Sculpture
Manila, Philippines

Patrick Cabral is a multi-disciplinary artist and experimental designer based in Manila, Philippines. His first creative foray was traditional calligraphy at the age of 11, then to graphic design, web/app development, animation and 3D modeling.

For almost two decades, he has led a self-sustaining career for both creative and tech disciplines. His mastery to diversify artistic skills and practices, had opened challenging opportunities, both local and abroad.

He is best known for his maximalist elegant paper sculptures. From 2016 onwards, his work has graced the walls of Starbucks, as luxurious ingredients of Selecta’s Magnum Ice Cream Bar, an instagrammable feature for Hong Kong’s Cha Long Tea & Cake Shop, and countless private commissions greatly appreciated by clients all over the world.

His recently wrapped major project is for Dubai World Expo 2020’s Philippine Pavilion, a 25 feet sculpture of a 'balangay' boat used by the “First Filipinos” exhibited in his trademark lace-maximalist style, carved and layered intricately.

Patrick is currently working on various experimental ventures, including NFTs, Fashion and Programming.
